When you fly from Adelaide to KI you have a short ride. I mean its 22 minutes and you are there. The Kingscote airport has have a major upgrade and is now bigger and better. You can get a bus into Kingscote or Penneshaw or hire a car. Hiring a car is best done before arriving on the Island as they can be in high demand certain times of the year.
Qantas now has direct flights from Melbourne and Adelaide with great special fares. So jump onboard and head on over to Kangaroo Island.
